Sports Boosters Meeting Minutes
May 21, 2007

President AJ Butler called meeting to order at 6:06 pm.

Motion was made to approve the minutes from Aprils meeting, was second and approved.

Motion was made to accept the treasurer’s report, was second and approved.

Athletic Directors Report:  Parent reps will start in the fall. Was close to having all sports represented.

1. Mitch Cummings was named as head football coach for the upcoming school year. 
2. As of this time no varsity volleyball coach has been interviewed.
3. At the Holiday Inn, Wednesday, for professional development day will be discussing the vision for next year sports, relationships between coaches/players.
4. Softball, baseball each won the Tom Ryan. Way to go teams.

Committee Reports:

1. Cash Raffle:  Profit was made in the amount of $9513.00, Thank you to all the teams who sold the tickets and to Brenda Peterson and Marji Johnson for all the work you did. Great job all.
2. Corporate Sponsorships: Two new ones to add, Johnson’s Controls, MCMC
3. Golf Outing: As of now we have 10 teams down to play. Football players will be there to unload the cars. Volunteers are still needed.

Old Business:

1. Baseball/Softball Dugouts- looking good.
2. Wrestling Mats: Should be done soon, should be back in within the next 2 weeks.

New Business:

1. Nominations of officers for the 2007/2008 school year are:
1. President- AJ Butler
2. Vice President- Eric Jarvi
3. Treasurer- Jennifer Rogers
4. Secretary-

The new positions were not voted on and will be discussed more during the August meeting.

It was asked who would be willing to take over some events for next year:
Golf Outing- Eric O’Neil
Corporate Sponsorship-Dr. Thapa
Wild Game Dinner:
Grant Writing- Glenn Phelps, Dave Borth.
Raffle Tickets-Brenda Peterson, Marji Johnson

Motion was made to adjourn at 6:40, was second and approved.
Next meeting will be August 2007.
