Internet access is available to students and staff with BRPS via CardiNet. We are pleased to bring CardiNet to the district and believe it offers vast, diverse and unique resources to students, staff and other authorized users. Our goal in providing this service is to promote educational excellence in our district by facilitating resource sharing, innovation and communication.
CardiNet is an electronic network which accesses the Internet. The Internet is an electronic highway connecting millions of computers and subscribers all over the world. Students, staff and authorized users have access to:
A web browser to research information available across the Internet
Electronic mail communications with people all over the world
Discussion groups on many subjects
Access to many University library catalogs, library of Congress
The smooth operation of the network relies upon the proper conduct of the end users who must adhere to strict guidelines. These guidelines are provided in the CardiNet agreement. A Cardinet agreement must be signed and on file at Cardinal Technolgy in order to access these resources.
