Big Rapids Public Schools is a district in Mid-Michigan with approximately 2200 students. We are comprised of a High School, a Virtual School, a Middle School (grades 5-8), and two Elementary Schools (grades K-4), Brookside Elementary and Riverview Elementary Schools.  Our Big Rapids Community is also home to Ferris State University.  We are very proud to say this is a community which is founded on education, with a focus on academic excellence.  

Our academic program is enhanced with a wide variety of award-winning extra curricular activities which include: instrumental and vocal music, dramatic and visual arts, and an excellent athletic program for grades 7-12.
