After School Academics (CLC)

Big Rapids Public Schools is excited to offer an after-school academic program for the 2022-23 school year.  The program will offer academic support, homework help, and an after-school snack.  

Here are the basic details of the program:

WHO CAN ATTEND  - The program is available to students in Kindergarten through 8th grade.

WHERE IS THE PROGRAM HELD - Brookside Elementary, Riverview Elementary, and the Middle School will each have their own after-school academic program on site. 

WHEN WILL THE PROGRAM BE OFFERED - The first day of CLC will be Thursday, August 25th, 2022. CLC will be offered every FULL day of school from about 3:15 until 5:15 pm. CLC will not be offered on early dismissal days, holidays and emergency closure days (See closure dates below).

PICK UP - There will be no bus home at the end of the CLC Program.  Parents are responsible for picking up students by 5:15pm each regular school day.  Students are able to come and leave at any time.

SNACK- A nutritious snack is provided each day.

COST- The program is $8.00 per day/$40 per week.  Fees must be paid in advance in order for students to attend.  Online payment options will be available through Skyward Family Access accounts.
