Proud day here at BRMS as 6th and 7th graders received their end of year awards. These awardees exemplify CARDS qualities across academic, athletic, and community standards! Congratulations to all!










6th grade annual Rocket launch today! Long distance record for today was over 100 yards! Lots of creativity and engineering to make these rockets fly!










Our 8th-grade class completed their tour of the High School today!

BRMS Science was active today with 6th grade students interacting with live Sea Lamprey and 7th grade students dissecting Star Fish! 6th grade had some brave volunteers come in and demonstrate a live Lamprey attaching to its prey!








Congratulations to BRMS 7th grader Anika Pai on winning second place in the Michigan State Optimist International Oratorical Contest! Nearly 2,000 clubs participate in this program each year!



150+ Big Rapids Middle School 6th grade students concluded this year's Salmon in the classroom program with the release of 138 salmon at Ludington State Park! Students were then able to fish the waters, explore the sand dunes and visit Lake Michigan! We had an awesome turn out of family members, from moms and dads, grandparents, and siblings join us, reinforcing how strong our community is and how nature can bring us all together! Way to go BRPS!
