Big Rapids Public Schools is excited to welcome a brand-new teacher to the Riverview team—though she’s no stranger to the building! After working as both a student teacher and a paraprofessional at Riverview, she now joins us for her first official year in the classroom, bringing energy, preparation, and a passion for early education.
Originally from Jackson, Michigan, she graduated from Lumen Christi High School in 2020 before moving to Big Rapids to attend Ferris State University and pursue her dream of becoming a teacher. She’s the middle child in a close-knit family of five and loves visiting home, where her parents’ three dogs—Mollie, Bentley, and Cocoa—keep things lively.
Outside of school, she enjoys traveling, hiking, and grabbing coffee with friends. Her love of adventure has taken her to eight different countries, and she finds joy in exploring new places and cultures. Above all, her heart is in the classroom, where she’s eager to help her students learn, grow, and feel loved every day.
