Last night at the Board of Education meeting, we were proud to recognize our secretaries and clerical paraprofessionals for their outstanding service to our district. They were presented with Certificates of Recognition honoring their commitment to excellence and the countless ways they help our schools run smoothly, each and every day.
Their dedication, professionalism, and behind-the-scenes support play an essential role in the success of our students, staff, and schools. We are incredibly grateful for all they do.

Big Rapids High School would like to extend a huge thank-you to Wesco for their generous donation through the Pepsi Challenge. A portion of pop sales is donated back to our school. We truly appreciate their continued support of our students and programs. Wesco representative, Courtney DePew presented BRHS principal Ron Pincumbe with the donation on Tuesday, February 10, 2026!
Congratulations to BRHS senior Cole Haist on being named an MHSAA Scholar-Athlete Award recipient. Cole is one of only nine student-athletes from Class B schools statewide to receive this prestigious honor. His commitment to excellence in the classroom and in competition exemplifies what it means to be a Cardinal!

Come see our Choir perform on February 10th at 7:00 PM in the BRHS Auditorium for the Pre-Festival Choir Concert!
Our high school students participated in a RED (Remember Everyone Deployed) OUT. This was an opportunity to support troops by wearing RED last Friday to earn money for the AMVET Riders!, By wearing red, students were able to earn a total of the monetary equivalent of $40,640.96 (in kind). It was reported to the state president and might be the highest earning chapter in the state! Awesome job Cards!
