In case you missed it, our Senior Class of 2026 took a nostalgic trip last Friday for the annual Senior Parade! They visited their former elementary and middle schools to say a huge thank you to the teachers who helped them start it all. There were endless smiles, emotional reunions, and lots of big hugs.
And because you're never too old for recess, they even spent some extra time hitting the playgrounds they once ruled as kids! 🛝✨

Students from BRHS participated in the Michigan Regional Council of Carpenters Career Day last week. They traveled to the Wayland Carpenter and Millwright Training Center to tour hands-on training areas, use virtual welders and basic tools, and learn about careers such as carpenter, floor layer, millwright, and solar installer.

BRHS student, Kam Sumlin, was chosen as one of the top 13 soloists in the state of Michigan this year. Only two students from BR have received this honor since the program started - Casey McCullen and Kathy Drake.
To celebrate this honor, Kam is performing at All-State Festival on Friday at MSU's Fairchild Theatre. Her performance is during a recital that lasts from 1PM-4PM. Her performance will likely be sometime between 3:10-3:30PM! The recital features the top soloists, small ensembles, and large ensembles in the state.
The performance will be Livestreamed on this Youtube page: https://www.youtube.com/@msvmamsvma. Please feel free to tune in!
