Embracing the festive spirit at BRPS!

Holiday spirit continues! BRMS student council has been so happy with student and staff spirit week engagement that they gifted us two extra days! Monday, December 18 is now Polar Express / Comfy Day. Tuesday the 19th is now Holiday Spirit Day (Anything holiday related)

🙌 THANKFUL THURSDAY 🙌
We are so appreciative of the support of our community! Here's just one reason why:
Last week, Middle School Principal, Josh Bull, dedicated our new BRMS gymnasium scoreboards saying, "These new scoreboards replaced the 50-year-old scoreboards that were previously there. This project was made possible by the partnership with Isabella Bank and our Middle School PTO."
Thank you to all those involved in completing this project!

BRMS is looking for donations for our Cake Walk on Tuesday December 19th. This is an activity that is planned as part of our winter activity day and the students have really come to look forward to this part of the event! Its only possible because of the great families like you that support our students! If you can donate please bring your individually wrapped treats to the office! Here’s some ideas from years past! Thank you!

Mrs.Stevens hosted a cocoa cafe this moring and the students were drinking in all the warm December vibes!

Our students are looking to get in the holiday spirit! Here are the upcoming spirit dress days!

The sixth grade students have worked hard on creating Fantasy Islands for world geography! These will now be voted on for which group of students produced the best Island and Mr.Brejcha has promised an all inclusive trip for the winning group to their very Island.... well, maybe an imagined vacation! Nice looking Islands 6th graders!

Standing ovation to our very talented Middle School performers! What a great show they all put on, from a display of vocals to backflips to moving dedications and more,it was fun to watch! Congratulations to all of them for taking the stage!

Congrats to 5th and 6th Grade Robotics at BRMS! This weekend we had two teams compete in the Regional Robotics Event and our two teams placed 5th and 1st place overall! The Robo Red Birds will now go on to compete in the State tournament! Way to teams!

Sixth grade Science is river deep in learning about fish! 6th graders are raising Chinook Salmon in the classroom in coordination with MiDNR and today were able to participate in a Rainbow Trout stocking right here in our own Muskegon River! Students were able to successfully stock 228 rainbows!

8th Grade Science working hard on measuring the density on different species of wood!
Classic "Will it sink or will it float?" activity!
