This month, our Board of Education recognized our Parent Teacher Organizations (PTO) and Booster Clubs that support our schools. In attendance were representatives from the Brookside PTO, Eastwood PTO, Riverview PTO, Middle School PTO, Sports Boosters, and Band Boosters. These individuals dedicate countless hours to supporting our students. In particular, their fundraising efforts have created SO MANY meaningful opportunities for Big Rapids students, and their commitment makes a lasting difference in our schools and community!

Our Cardinals celebrated the 50th day of school in true 1950s style — with poodle skirts, denim, white tees, and even a visit from Elvis himself! 👗🕺

What a fun way to mark 50 days of learning, laughter, and school spirit at Eastwood! ❤️

Our next Family Night is coming up! Thursday November 13th 5-6pm This Family Night you don't even need to get out of your vehicle! Drive up in front of the building and we will give you all the items you need to make a spaghetti dinner, play games and make a craft as a family! See you there!

Eastwood Move-A-Thon registration is officially open!!! The kickoff starts November 1st but you can get your student registered and start getting donations now! Our Move-A-Thon donations help support our school field trips, student and staff needs, school supplies, and many other things throughout the school year that may arise. Last year we raised $15,000 and that is our goal again this year! We have many small goals throughout the month and when we reach those goals students will earn incentives. We already have reached our $1000 incentive, pajama day!! Please get your student registered, reach out to your family, friends and community and let them know how important their donation is and what an impact they can make to your student at Eastwood Elementary!
