Mornings are busy. Groceries are expensive. We've got breakfast covered! ❤️

Did you know that eating breakfast can help students improve their focus, memory, energy, and readiness to learn?

At Big Rapids Public Schools, FREE breakfast is available to every student, every school day!

That's one less meal to prepare, one less expense for your family, and a great way to help your Cardinal start the day strong!

🍎 Encourage your child to stop by the school cafeteria for breakfast each morning. At Eastwood, breakfast is served right in the classroom!

Less morning stress. More breakfast success.

Happy National Principals Month! Thank you to our incredible principals who lead with dedication and inspire students every day.
Your impact is invaluable!

So far we have raised $5,135!!

We have 75/182 students registered. Please continue to register your students. It takes less than 5 minutes to do so and it is completely free!

We also have 13/50 states have donated. It is so fun to see what family members we have living all over the United States. We try to get a donation from all 50 states. Do you know someone from a state we do not have a donation from yet? Even a dollar counts!

The students have already earned:

Let's show our Cardinal pride!! We are BR!

Mrs.Enszer's class is working on their upper and lower case letters. They are using unique and fun ways to help them. So much fun!

Mrs. J. Bouman's class worked on their first big writing assignment!

Students are having fun making projects in Mrs. Land's STEM class!

We have had a great start to the school year! The students have already learned so much and we are so proud of them! Big Rapids focuses strongly on C.A.R.D.S and what each letter stands for. Ask your students and see if they can tell you yet. This year our bus transportation has incorporated it into their busses. On Thursday every class was able to learn how to act appropriately on the bus and what it was like to be a CARD. They each got a coloring book and sticker too!

Mrs. Thomas' class is enjoying the playground and searching for fun toys!

📅 NO SCHOOL REMINDER

Quick heads-up for our families: There will be no school on Friday, August 28th.
Enjoy the long weekend, Cardinals!
