Classrooms wrapped up March is Reading Month in the coziest way—celebrating with popcorn and a favorite fairy tale movie! After a month filled with books, imagination, and storytelling, students enjoyed a well-deserved time to relax and bring those magical stories to life on screen. It was the perfect ending to a month that inspired a love of reading and creativity throughout the building.

Mrs. Fox’s class had an enjoyable time participating in the Peep Project over the last two weeks, working their way towards the Hop Shop while bringing the C.A.R.D.S. system to life as students were responsible for caring for their Peep. They were held accountable for mistakes like forgetting or losing it, responsible in managing paychecks and expenses needed to care for their Peep, and had to ensure it was always safe, protected, and not left unattended at any time.
This was a classroom hit & our students did an egg-cellent job at being Peep parents! 🐣

Ms. Stickler’s and Mrs. Krebs’ classrooms wrapped up March is Reading Month in a heartwarming way by walking over to the Eastwood Kindergarten Center to share their love of reading. The older students did a wonderful job reading aloud to the kindergarteners, creating special moments and building connections through stories. Smiles filled the room as the younger students listened with excitement and admiration. It was a meaningful experience for all, and a perfect way to celebrate the joy of reading together.

Our 4th graders in Ms.Sticklers class have been studying all about Engineering and Energy transfer, and how energy is stored. Yesterday the students built chain reactions to reveal a message at the end. The kids had so much fun. They were great little engineers working together in teams to make their chain reactions work.
