Elementary students made the best of indoor recess during these cold winter days by turning classrooms into spaces full of laughter and creativity. Board games, drawing, and building activities kept busy hands and smiling faces engaged. Even without going outside, students showed great teamwork and imagination while enjoying time with friends. Indoor recess proved that fun can happen anywhere when students have positive attitudes and creative minds.

This last week the Entomologist’s of Camp Wanink shared their expert knowledge of bugs with Mrs. Maleski’s first graders. Mrs. Waninks' class worked SO hard on their informational books and it shows! She was so proud of them!
Shout out to Mrs. Maleski’s first grade friends for being GREAT listeners.
And an additional shoutout to Mrs. Malloy for helping the students create absolutely BEAUTIFUL covers for their books during art class.
It was a true team effort in showcasing all of this hard work and knowledge!

Mrs. Wanink's mathematicians completed the most facts for 2nd grade, but they also completed the most in the WHOLE school and won the Reflex competition we had going during the month of November!
In addition to that, the Queen of Reflex came from our room as well with Emery solving over 15,000 facts AND getting her green light 29/30 days!

Our elementary school was excited to host a mobile dentist on campus, offering families a convenient option for students to receive dental cleanings during the school day. With parent permission, students were able to have their teeth cleaned and checked right at school in a comfortable, friendly setting. This opportunity helped support student health while saving families time and making dental care more accessible. Our elementary students proudly showed their school spirit by supporting Bulldog Spirit Day. Ferris State University Football and Volleyball teams had another successful championship season. Students wore team colors, and celebrated the Bulldogs’ hard work and success. It was exciting to see our young learners support local college athletes and come together to celebrate championship pride. Go Bulldogs! 🏈🏐🎉
