Students in the top-earning classroom celebrated their Move-a-Thon success with an exciting pool party! Laughter and splashes filled the air as they enjoyed well-deserved fun. It was the perfect way to reward their hard work and team effort in reaching their fundraising goal!

Riverview Elementary students had a fantastic time enjoying their bowling and pizza incentive after raising over $400 in the Move-A-Thon! Laughter filled the lanes as students cheered each other on, celebrated strikes, and shared high-fives with friends. The special trip was a fun reward for their hard work and school spirit, making all their fundraising efforts truly pay off!

Riverview students couldn’t wait to try out the brand-new climbing equipment! Excitement filled the air as they reached, balanced, and made their way to the top for the very first time. Smiles and laughter were everywhere as they explored the new challenge. It’s safe to say the new climbing equipment is a big hit with our students!

Riverview teachers had a blast testing out the brand-new playground equipment! Laughter and smiles filled the air as they climbed just like their students will. It was the perfect way to make sure everything is safe—and have a little fun while doing it! The teachers gave the new playground structure two thumbs up for fun and excitement.

🚌Oh, The Places Our Buses Go — Safely!

It’s National School Bus Safety Week, and we’re celebrating the incredible team that keeps our Cardinals safe every single day!

Each day, BRPS buses carry 1,372 students across 1,023 miles — and by week’s end, that’s 5,115 miles and more than 6,800 safe rides completed! 🚦 That would be like driving to Florida every day or driving from New York City to Las Vegas, Nevada AND BACK each week!

From early mornings to afternoon drop-offs, our drivers and transportation staff make safety their top priority — and we’re so thankful for the care, smiles, and dedication they show on every route. ❤️

The kids eagerly helped “make” the principal into a spaghetti bowl, celebrating their Moveathon success with lots of noodles and giggles.

Riverview Elementary would like to extend a big thank-you to the PTO for the exciting new playground equipment! Their generosity is giving students more ways to stay active, play together, and enjoy recess to the fullest. We’re grateful for their continued support in making our school a fun and engaging place to learn and grow.

At last night’s Board of Education meeting, we took a moment to recognize our incredible principals in honor of National Principal Appreciation Month! ❤️

Each principal received an embroidered lunch cooler featuring the BR logo — a small token of appreciation for the big impact they make every single day.

Thank you to our principals for leading with dedication, heart, and a commitment to helping every student thrive. We’re so grateful for all that you do! 🙌

The elementary students gathered for a special fire safety assembly where local firefighters taught them how to stay safe. They learned the importance of checking smoke detectors, making a family escape plan, and staying low if there’s smoke. The firefighters also demonstrated their gear so students wouldn’t be afraid in an emergency. Everyone left the assembly feeling informed, confident, and prepared.

Third and fourth graders had a blast cheering on the FSU soccer team! Their energy and excitement filled the stands as they clapped, shouted, and waved in support. The students loved seeing the players in action and proudly showed their school spirit throughout the game.

The students were thrilled to earn a special glow light party as their incentive reward! With glowing bracelets, colorful lights, and fun music, the celebration created an exciting atmosphere they won’t forget. It was a bright and joyful way to recognize their hard work and positive behavior.
