The annual 4th grade World Cup event at Riverview Elementary was filled with excitement, teamwork, and school spirit! Students had an amazing time participating in friendly competition, cheering on their classmates, and showing great sportsmanship throughout the day. The 2026 team captains lead their teams with great leadership. Way to go captains! Congratulations to team #3 for the WIN!

Riverview Elementary fourth graders had an amazing time on their field trip to Lewis Adventure Farm! Students enjoyed a day filled with fun, laughter, learning, and unforgettable memories with their classmates. From exciting activities to exploring all the farm had to offer, it was a fantastic experience for everyone involved.
A huge thank you to our wonderful PTO for all they do to help make these field trips possible for our students. Your continued support, generosity, and dedication provide our students with opportunities they will always remember!










Today, the Big Rapids High School Choir visited Riverview Elementary and amazed students and staff with their incredible vocal talents! Their beautiful performance filled the halls with music, energy, and school spirit. Thank you to the choir students and director for sharing your time and talents with our Riverview families today — you were wonderful role models for our young learners!

Mrs. Scarpelli’s class had an exciting day at mock trial as the case of Little Red Riding Hood was brought to court! After hearing all the evidence, witness testimonies, and arguments from both sides, the jury found Red Riding Hood innocent! Students did a fantastic job participating as attorneys, witnesses, jurors, and judges while learning about the courtroom process in a fun and engaging way.
