Prom Flower Fundraiser!
Rotary Interact Club will be selling corsages, boutonnieres, and bouquets for the Big Rapids Prom, starting on April 8th and ending on April 26th. All flowers will be customizable and handed out Friday, May 3rd from 2:30 - 3:30. All orders will be done through a Google Form Linked in our Rotary Instagram bio: rotaryinteract_

BRHS students were able to learn more about the sheet metal industry during the March Trade Talk with S.M.A.R.T. Local 7 representative Mike Adams. Twenty-four students attended the presentation today about apprenticeship opportunities in this growing trade!

Congratulations to Austin Hinkley for receiving a Michigan Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (MIAAA) Scholarship Award for the 2023-2024 school year.
The MIAAA believes in rewarding students who flourish in both academic and athletic excellence and commit to service in his or her local community. The selection process for this year was highly competitive and each of the selected student-athletes is very deserving of this honor.
Way to go, Austin! You make Cardinal Country proud!


BRHS Future Connections students took a field trip to MiWorks this week to explore community career resources. On their visit, they were able to participate in virtual reality job simulations, learn about job seeking resources, and discuss skills needed to be successful at work. They also got to have a little fun with the clothes closet!

Congratulations to Eli Buist for finishing in third place at the CSAA end of season chess tournament. His accomplishment earned him All Conference honors. Also recognized were Harley Cole and Kenndall Sissell who earned All Conference Honorable Mention.


2nd Trimester Exams!


On Friday, February 23, 2024, dedicated members of the BRHS National Honor Society, along with BRHS teacher Kayla Cousineau, collaborated with Angels of Action to assemble nearly 600 weekend food bags. We are proud of our students for demonstrating their commitment to supporting and nourishing our local communities.

Islwyn Williams competed in Impromptu Speech and earned 3rd place overall.
Jacob Beauchamp competed in Informative Speech and earned 3rd place overall.
Finn Kutschke competed in Oratory Speech and earned 1st place she received a medal for his performance!
