4:00–5:30 PM – Class of ’29 Swing In (includes new enrollees)
3:30–5:30 PM – Class of ’29 School Pictures & ID Pickup

📅 August 20
9:00 AM–3:00 PM – Upperclassmen Open Registration
9:00 AM–3:00 PM – Upperclassmen School Pictures & ID Pickup

This year's Juniors vs. Seniors PowderPuff showdown will take place on Wednesday, September 10th @ 8pm at Cardinal Stadium. Sign up sheets will be available in the main office, and t-shirts will be $17. All players and coaches must sign up by Tuesday, September 2nd, and must attend at least one practice in order to participate.

This year's first Student Council meeting will take place after school on the first day of school (Thursday, August 21st) until approx. 2:30pm. The meeting will begin in Room 115, and lunch will be provided. For incoming freshman members, you should have received an email confirming whether or not you were accepted in June. We wrapped our summer training program this morning! We consistently had 30-50 athletes showing up each day to get stronger, faster, and better at their sport(s). #wearebr #bigrapidsbuilt

June 9 - Aug 8 Monday - Friday , closed July 3 & 4th (Friday pick-up includes weekend meals) Pick up at Eastwood from 11 am - 12 noon OR BR Middle School from 12 noon - 1 pm. ONLY parents/guardians or students may pick up meals due to new State regulations. For all children, 18 years old and younger, from all areas and schools or persons up to age 26 who are enrolled in an educational program for the mentally or physically disabled that is recognized by a State or local public educational agency. This Memorial Day, we pause to reflect on the courage and sacrifice of the men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. Big Rapids Public Schools honors their legacy with gratitude and respect. Reminder: There will be no school on Monday, May 26 in observance of the holiday.

Congratulations to the following track and field athletes for qualifying for the state meet on May 31st: Nalaya Fricke (200M & 400M), Sophia Blackwell (Long Jump), Hayden Gould (1600 M), Michael Horning (Discus), Wyatt Skiera, Liam McLaughlin, Garret Foster, and Lamont Belvin (4x100 & 4x200 Relays)! Congrats to our Boys Track Team- They were the CSAA Co-Champions! In addition, congratulations to Nalaya Fricke for setting a new school record in the 400! The previous record was set by Mrs. Montgomery at 58.00. Nalaya ran a 56.95!
