As part of our Polar Express pajama day, BRHS Student Council was able to provide all students with free cookies during lunch today. 🍪 Thank you to our BRHS staff for their donations in helping to purchase the cookies, as well as local businesses such as The Pie Whole, Three Girls Bakery, BRVS employee Amy Bordano, and Valisa VanderHill for providing these delicious treats!

Congratulations to the 2023 First Trimester Commendable Cardinals! The Commendable Cardinals are nominated by Big Rapids High School staff members for students who gave great effort to achieve success throughout the trimester. Special Thanks to Car Center for donating gift cards and providing breakfast to our student nominees. John Schreiber from Car Center presented students Monday, December 11, 2023 with their awards! Donation Drive! KW Realty is putting together “Blessing Bags” for local unhoused people around the Big Rapids area. In an effort to help gather items for these bags, BRHS Student Council will be collecting items in students’ 3RD HOUR classes from Monday, Dec. 11th-Thursday, Dec. 14th. The class with the most items donated will win a PIZZA PARTY! 🍕

Once again this year, we will be hosting a Halloween Costume Contest on Tuesday, October 31st. The judging will take place in the rotunda towards the end of first hour, and those in costume will be dismissed via PA. The categories will include best group, best duo, most creative, funniest, most frightening, and the top overall costume will receive a gift card to the place of their choice!

Come enjoy an illuminating experience through Oxford Farm's 5 acre corn maze "Glowing Pumpkin Trail" - featuring Big Rapids High School, Reed City High School, and Evart High Schools Carved Jack-o-Lanterns Friday & Saturday 7-10pm $5/ticket
