Big Rapids Middle School is excited to welcome Jesse Lang as our new Special Education teacher!
Jesse is originally from Evart and graduated from Evart High School before heading west for college. He earned his degree from Boise State University in Idaho and spent much of the past decade living in both Idaho and Utah. His journey in education has taken him from the mountains out west back to Michigan, most recently serving at Grant Public Schools before joining the BRPS team.
Jesse brings with him a passion for supporting and coaching young adults—a drive that led him to the field of education and ultimately to Big Rapids. Outside the classroom, Jesse enjoys living life to the fullest. He loves to travel, kayak, camp, and attend concerts, always making the most of his time outdoors and on the road.
While he doesn’t have kids of his own, Jesse proudly embraces his role as an uncle to five awesome nieces and nephews. His family means a great deal to him, and he brings that same spirit of connection and care into his work with students.
We’re thrilled to have Jesse on board at BRMS—welcome to Cardinal Country!
