Although Friday night’s Varsity football game has been forfeited by our opponent, we’ve made some adjustments to ensure you still have a fun-filled evening. High School Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday, October 10 from 4:00 - 6:30 PM. **Please note, this is a change from the originally scheduled date on the 2023-24 Academic Calendar, so plan accordingly.

Riverview students had the distinct honor of welcoming Dr. Corinne Edwards, MDE Director of Educational Supports, for a special visit! Dr. Edwards spent time reading to our students and discovering more about our district-wide CARDS character initiative, which highlights our commitment to fostering strong values and leadership. We are thrilled to introduce our new district-wide safety signage at BRPS! These signs will enhance emergency response times, ensuring the safety of our students and staff. Each sign features a removable nameplate, providing a flexible and long-lasting solution for classroom or teacher changes. The signs will also help with wayfinding throughout our buildings for students, staff, or guests. This project was funded by a safety grant, which also supports the installation of exterior signs across all campuses to deter unauthorized personnel from approaching school buildings. These measures are part of our ongoing commitment to creating safe learning environments for everyone at BRPS. Check out these new safety signs at open houses next week!

Summer school classes for BRHS and BRVS students begin Tuesday at 8:00 am in the BRHS Media Center. Classes go from 8:00 am-12:00 pm every Tuesday and Wednesday until July 24th. Payments for classes are due before class begins. All students MUST have a school Chromebook to work on their classes. BRVS students taking summer classes can get Chromebooks at BRVS today from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm or 12:45 pm - 3:30 pm, or they can wait until tomorrow morning when classes begin. All BRHS students taking summer school classes can pick up their Chromebooks today in the BRHS office until 4:00 pm. Please call ahead to pick these up (231-796-7651).
