Next week, from November 2nd through 4th, our Big Rapids Middle School 8th graders will have a unique opportunity to work directly with the University of Tennessee during three days of hands-on STEM learning!
Through a Composite Skateboard Challenge, students will explore the science and engineering behind skateboard design and manufacturing. From selecting materials and understanding their properties to manufacturing and evaluating a finished product, students will experience how an idea becomes a reality!
This exciting opportunity goes beyond skateboards, introducing students to real-world applications of science, technology, engineering, and math while exploring potential careers in advanced manufacturing.

At halftime of Friday night's final home game, we proudly recognized retired BRPS Technology Director Joe Bouman for an incredible 31 years of keeping stats for our varsity football team!
For more than three decades, Joe traveled near and far, never missing a game, to support our Cardinals from the press box.
